Product Overview
This page describes a stationary 180° pallet tipper (also called an upender or pallet inverter) designed to rotate an entire load — pallet and goods together — through a full 180° so the bottom pallet can be exchanged. The representative configuration offers a rated turning capacity of 2 tons, accepts pallets up to 1200 × 1200 mm, and completes a full 180° turning cycle. The machine uses a mechanical frame driven by an electric motor through a worm gear reducer, with four heavy-duty support rollers in the base carrying the rotating frame throughout the inversion. It is intended for heavy, stable, self-supporting loads where the whole unit must be turned over rather than tilted partway. The station works as a standalone unit with forklift infeed, and can be fitted with roller-conveyor interfaces for integration into automated lines where required.

How the Stationary 180° Tipper Works
-
Load entry
The complete load — pallet plus goods — is placed into the tipping station, typically by forklift or pallet truck.
-
Positioning and support
Four heavy-duty cradle rollers in the machine base support the rotating frame and carry the load weight through the full rotation. The load itself is held against the rotating table by the machine's clamping arrangement and side guides, which restrain the load laterally; the rollers carry weight, they do not grip the goods.
-
180° rotation
The motor drives the rotation through a worm gear reducer with variable-frequency speed control. The machine can stop at any angle, and dual mechanical travel limiters define the operating envelope; an emergency stop and a position-lock function prevent unintended rotation.
-
Pallet exchange and return
With the load inverted, the damaged or unwanted bottom pallet is removed and a replacement is placed. The load is rotated back and the unit exits the station.
