Product Overview
This V-shape pallet changer holds a loaded pallet between two V-shaped clamping arms, presses it down with a scissor-lift mechanism, and tilts it 90° to the side so the bottom pallet can be exchanged at floor level. It is built for goods that must not be flipped 180°, including cartons of bottles, ceramics, glass, and other stable closed packaging.
The V-shaped cradle supports the load during a controlled side tilt, never turning it fully upside down. Loading is by hand pallet truck at ground level, so no forklift or dock ramp is required, and the machine does not occupy high vertical space in the work area.
Key Specifications
Final load capacity, pallet footprint, and clamping pressure are confirmed per project.
| Item | Specification |
|---|---|
| Tilt angle | 90° side tilt (not 180° inversion) |
| Holding structure | V-shaped dual clamping arms with scissor-lift press-down |
| Load-interrupt | Active during tilting and lowering strokes |
| Loading | Ground-level via hand pallet truck; no forklift required |
| Total load height range (pallet + goods) | 600–2000 mm (representative; confirm per project) |
| Power | Hydraulic power unit, approx. 2.2 kW, 380 V / 50 Hz (from unit nameplate; representative; confirm per project) |
| Load capacity and pallet footprint | Confirmed per project according to load mass and packaging rigidity |
No rated load capacity or pallet size is published; both are confirmed against actual load mass, dimensions, and packaging rigidity.
How a Ground-Level Exchange Works
-
Push in
The operator drives a hand pallet truck carrying the loaded pallet into the machine at floor level and positions it in the V-shaped clamping area.
-
Clamp and press
The V-shaped arms close on both sides of the load, and the scissor-lift mechanism presses down to hold it securely between the arms.
-
Tilt 90°
The assembly tilts the clamped load 90° to the side. The load-interrupt function is active during tilting and lowering so motion can be halted if needed.
-
Exchange the pallet
With the load held on edge, the operator removes the bottom pallet, places the replacement pallet, and positions it under the load.
-
Return and push out
The machine tilts back to vertical, releases the clamp, and the operator pushes the re-palletized load out with the pallet truck.
The operator works outside the tilt and sweep zone, separated from the moving load during the cycle.
