Product Overview

This self-powered, battery-driven pallet inverter drives to the load, inserts its hydraulic fork arms into the pallet, lifts, and rotates the full load 180° in place so the damaged or non-conforming bottom pallet can be replaced. One unit can serve several stations without a fixed table, pit, or foundation work.

The machine carries its own battery and performs the exchange where the pallet stands. The hydraulic fork arms lift the load to approximately 1600 mm depending on clearance needs, rotate it 180° to expose the bottom face, and set it back down after the pallet is replaced.

Operating Sequence

How a Mobile Exchange Works

Drive in

Travel under the machine's own power—approx. 5 km/h unloaded and 4 km/h loaded, with nominal gradeability of approx. 10% on a dry hard surface. Check aisles, doors, floor routes, and approach clearance.
Insert and lift

The 1100 × 165 × 50 mm fork arms, with a 1400 mm opening range, enter the pallet and lift the load to up to approx. 1600 mm.
Rotate

Hydraulic rotation turns the load through a 90° intermediate position or automatically through 180°, until the pallet bottom faces up.
Swap and reset

Remove the old pallet, place the new one, then lower the load and release the arms.
Drive off

Move to the next station. The 24V 180Ah battery provides approx. 6 hours per charge and takes approx. 5 hours to charge; plan charging around your shift pattern.

Clear the swing perimeter

Maintain a clear safety zone around the approx. 1250 mm swing perimeter, and confirm the load is stable and packaged for inversion before starting.

Match fork-arm pressure to the load type and recalibrate when switching between robustly packed and fragile goods.

Plan battery charging

Charge the battery in the designated area following the manual, and include the approx. 5-hour charging time in the shift plan.

Limits to Check Before Ordering

Inversion tolerance

The load spends part of the cycle upside down. Goods that may shift, deform, or be damaged when inverted are unsuitable regardless of capacity. Review packaging details for bottles, cans, fragile goods, and soft packaging.

Clamping and lift pressure

The fork arms grip and lift the load, so mismatched pressure can cause damage. Pressure calibration is confirmed per project, especially for fragile or soft-packaged goods.

Battery endurance and charging

Approx. 6 hours per charge and approx. 5 hours charging are representative figures; match them against shift length and exchanges per shift.

Aisles, gradients, and floor

Footprint is 2250 × 850 mm, machine weight 1200 kg, and nominal gradeability approx. 10%. Confirm floor routes, door widths, and ramps along the full route.

Load envelope

Representative limits are 1500 kg load, 1800 mm load height, approx. 1600 mm fork-arm lift, and 1400 mm fork opening. Other configurations are reviewed per project.

1. Do I need a fixed table, a pit, anchoring or wiring at the station?

No. The self-powered machine works at multiple stations on a firm, level floor, using an onboard 24V 180Ah battery. It needs no fixed platform, pit, ground bolts, or hydraulic power lines.

2. What if my goods cannot be turned upside down?

A 180° inverter is not the right type. Consider a 95° pallet exchanger or a push-type changer. If goods tolerate neither inversion nor tilting, send drawings so the method can be defined per project.

3. How long does the battery last?

The 24V 180Ah battery gives approx. 6 hours per charge, and charging takes approx. 5 hours. These representative figures should be confirmed against your shift plan per project.

4. What load can it handle?

The representative configuration handles up to 1500 kg and 1800 mm load height, with fork-arm lift to approx. 1600 mm and a 1400 mm fork opening. Final specifications are confirmed per project.

5. What is the warranty?

The standard warranty is 1 year. A 2-year warranty applies only to selected models during special offer periods; the applicable term is stated on the quotation.

6. Can it be used as a continuous heavy-duty line inverter?

No. It is designed for in-plant, flat-floor, multi-point shuttle work, batch transfers, and staging areas. For continuous high-throughput lines, use a fixed stationary inverter or an inline changer.

7. How much turning clearance does it need?
