Product Overview
The FHOPE heavy load reclining and rotating pallet inverter is a stationary machine designed for wide and heavy pallet loads that cannot be safely inverted by a standard single-clamp unit. It works on a two-motion principle: the load is reclined 90 degrees onto its back, centered on a turntable, then rotated 180 degrees before being returned upright. Single or dual clamping is offered depending on the load's dimensions and weight, and the machine is usually supplied as a fully automated and guarded system.
Because wide, heavy, or low-rigidity loads often need support on more than one face during inversion, the recline-then-rotate sequence spreads the handling stress across the machine structure rather than concentrating it on a single clamp point. Capacity, table size, and clamping configuration are all defined per project, based on each customer's load length × width × height and weight.
Key Specifications
Representative configuration for this reclining and rotating series:
| Item | Specification |
|---|---|
| Machine type | Stationary reclining and rotating pallet inverter |
| Motion sequence | 90° recline onto back, then 180° turntable rotation, then return to initial position |
| Clamping | Single clamping or dual clamping (per project) |
| Load suitability | Wide and heavy pallet loads |
| Load definition | Defined per project — based on customer's load L × W × H and weight |
| Supply form | Usually fully automated and guarded system |
| Load entry | Configured to match customer's in-plant handling (lifter, forklift, etc.) |
| Pallet swap | Manual or assisted removal of the original pallet from the upper face after full 180° inversion, or per project workflow |
Specifications shown are representative; final details are confirmed per project.
How It Works
The reclining and rotating pallet inverter follows a clear six-step cycle:
-
Load entry
A forklift or other in-plant handling method delivers the wide, heavy pallet load into the machine.
-
Clamping
The load is gripped using single or dual clamping, selected during project engineering according to the load's dimensions and weight.
-
90° recline
The clamp assembly lifts and turns the load to 90 degrees, laying it down with the load face centered over the turntable. After the 90° recline the load is centered over the turntable so the center of gravity projects onto the slewing bearing, keeping rotation torque symmetric.
-
180° rotation
The turntable rotates the load 180 degrees on its top face, reversing the load's orientation.
-
Return and release
The machine returns the load to the initial upright position and releases the clamp, allowing the unwanted pallet to be swapped out.
-
Automated operation
The machine is typically delivered as a fully automated, guarded system integrated into the customer's plant handling layout, whether loads arrive by lifter, forklift, or other means.
The result is a full pallet reversal — bottom to top — suitable for wide and heavy loads where a conventional clamp-only inversion would put excessive stress on the product or the machine.
