Product Overview
The pushing mechanism slides goods horizontally from the old pallet onto a new one, with no lifting, tilting, or clamping in the transfer. It is rated up to 55 pallets per hour, handles goods up to 1160 × 1180 mm, and can be built for loads up to 1000 kg, taking new pallets from an AGV (single or up to 10 stacked) and connecting to your conveyors and WCS for sorting and scheduling. Shortlist it when loads are stable enough to be pushed sideways (≥ 30 mm edge overlap), your target rate is within the rated range, and you need AGV/WCS integration. The published load rating and achievable cycle rate are confirmed per project.
A pallet changing line replaces the pallet under a load — damaged pallet out, clean or destination-spec pallet in — while goods maintain continuous overall process flow, halting briefly only during the rapid horizontal swap station. As an inline configuration, it sits between your upstream and downstream conveyors, so loads pass through instead of detouring to a standalone machine. Unlike rotary or tilting inverters, this pushing-type inline system transfers goods purely on a horizontal plane, without changing package orientation or clamping the product body.
The line accepts wood and plastic pallets and adapts to different pallet sizes and types. It can connect to discharge and collection conveyors, be scheduled by a warehouse control system (WCS), and be paired with palletizing or depalletizing machines.

How a Pushing-Type Pallet Change Works
-
Infeed and alignment
The loaded pallet enters on the heavy load roller conveyor (representative module, dimensions in mm: L1500 × W1200 × H850). Sensors check load position and alignment before the cycle starts.
-
Height detection
A height detection device measures each load. Goods above the set height limit are routed to a reject/bypass conveyor section designed for taller clearance, instead of entering the transfer point. This is a safety interlock that keeps over-height loads clear of the pushing zone — the machine itself does not lift loads vertically. The limit value is set per project.
-
AGV pallet supply
An AGV delivers new pallets — one at a time or up to 10 stacked — and aligns automatically with the line conveyor. In the representative supply scope, the Pallet Dismantling Machine (L1500 × W2500 × H2800) destacks pallets and feeds them to the line, the Dismantling and Stacking Machine (L1500 × W2500 × H2800) collects and stacks emptied pallets, and the Pallet Changer module (L7000 × W1500 × H2800) is the main transfer section. Whole-line straight-line space is typically required; the final run length is confirmed against your floor plan.
-
Horizontal transfer
The pushing mechanism moves the load sideways from the old pallet onto the new one. The load is not lifted, tilted, or clamped during the change; a minimum edge overlap of 30 mm between the load edge and the receiving pallet deckboard is required to prevent bottom cartons or pallets from catching during the horizontal transfer.
-
Discharge
The re-palletized load exits to the downstream or collection conveyor under WCS scheduling, and the emptied pallet leaves the transfer zone for stacking or dismantling.
